Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning the completed and signed form with thesolicitation response. Failure to submit the addendum may be used as an evaluated factor.CHANGE:The due date for proposal submission changes as follows:From: December 9, 2025, 10:30 a.m. CSTTo: January 6, 2026, 10:30 a.m. CSTCHANGE: (Due to iSupplier (Oracle) down)From: Submit proposals through Sourcing (iSupplier)To: Please submit hard copy of proposal and attach spreadsheet of line items on a USB thumb drive.Question1. Can Manufacturers submit less than full casesfor samples?2. Please confirm that the Oracle bulk load catalogis not required for this bid since it id for foodservice.3. Are brokers allowed to bid direct to warehousefor Commodity bid?AnswerYes, we will accept partial cases. Thepackages need to be properly labeled andinclude all required documents. Thenumber of servings provided need to besufficient for effective testing for theevaluation committee.Correct, Bulk Load is NOT required forthis RFP.The supplier needs to be the manufacturerthat is providing the commodity processedfoods.4. Will both the commodity and commercialversions of the item be awarded to a singlevendor, or will they be awarded separately - onevendor for the commodity line and another forthe commercial line?We award one vendor to both lines. Forexample, if you are award for Line 7, thenyou would be awarded both commodityand commercial pricing. Not all awardswill receive commodity allocations so wewould purchase using commercial pricing.25. There are two bid lines noted on this RFP whichwe need clarification. Does this mean a school We award one vendor to both lines. Forintends to purchase approximately 2000 cases of example, if you are award for Line 7, thenCommodity Calzone (example) initially, and you would be awarded both commoditythen transition to 200 cases of Commercialand commercial pricing. Not all awardsCalzones once the commodity pounds arewill receive commodity allocations so wedepleted?would purchase using commercial pricing.6. Will you allow manufacturers to bid on thecommercial line only and not the commodityline?7. In reviewing the line items, will Garland provideSUPC or item number for them? Having thosedetails would really help us search for the exactmatches, or suitable equivalents that align withGarland ISD's requirements.8. Could you clarify the response to our questionregarding the line items 52.01 and 52.02? Itmentions a preference for whole grain-richbreading but the item in question isn't breaded?If you only have a commercial product,then you will submit your pricing for bothlines and indicate that you only have acommercial item.We require that the item meets thespecifications. A specific item number isnot also requested to allow for similarproducts to be bid.For clarification, line 52 is a non-breadeditem.9. Regarding line items 52.01 and 52.02, would acertified gluten-free chicken breast patty madewith whole muscle product be acceptable?10. Will there be an extension for this proposal?Yes, this will be considered for evaluation.Yes, it will be extended to January 6th by10:30 am. Hard Copies along with athumb drive of the spreadsheet of lineitems will be required if the system(Oracle) is still not working.________________________Mayte R.
