Notes	NOTICE OF INTENT – EP TRUE PARKWAY CONSTRUCTION CITY OF WEST DES MOINES, IOWA March 31, 2025 NOTICE OF INTENT – EP TRUE PARKWAY CONSTRUCTION The City of West Des Moines, Iowa will be posting bidding documents for the following projects in the very near future (download attached location map for more details): Grand Prairie Parkway & EP True Parkway Intersection Improvements Project No. 0510-039-2024 Construction Estimate ~ $1.8M Construction of approximately 1,125 feet of Grand Prairie Parkway from 500 feet south of Wendover Road to 625 feet north of Wendover Road and construction of the intersection with EP True Parkway including all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 380 LF of storm sewer with 7 structures, 320 LF of water main, 3,130 CY of grading, 9,060 SY of PCC pavement, 1,600 CY of modified subbase, 330 SY of PCC sidewalk and shared use path, traffic signals, 2 AC of surface restoration, erosion control, 890 LF of city fiber conduit inter-connect, pavement markings, traffic control, construction survey, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances. EP True Parkway – Grand Prairie Parkway to Bridgewood Boulevard Project No. 0510-041-2024 Construction Estimate ~ $8.1M Construction of approximately 3900 feet of EP True Parkway (5-lanes) from Grand Prairie Parkway to future Bridgewood Boulevard including all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the installation of 29 AC of clearing & grubbing, 27,906 CY of topsoil strip & respread, 116,951 CY of excavation, 4,861 LF of storm sewer, 52 storm sewer structures, 5,409 LF of subdrain & outlets, 17,400 LF of conduit & vaults, 4,056 LF of water main & appurtenances, 28,914 SY of 10 inch reinforced PCC pavement, 4,276 SY of 6 inch reinforced PCC shared use path, 425 SY of 6 inch PCC driveway, erosion control, seeding, surface restoration, pavement markings, construction survey, and other miscellaneous construction. EP True Parkway – Bridgewood Boulevard to Wendover Lane Project No. 0510-042-2024 Construction Estimate ~ $4.5M Construction of approximately 2400 feet of EP True Parkway (3-lanes) from future Bridgewood Boulevard to Wendover Lane including all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the installation of 15 AC of clearing & grubbing, 14,991 CY of topsoil strip & respread, 49,046 CY of excavation, 3,723 LF of storm sewer, 27 storm sewer structures, 778 LF of subdrain & outlets, 17,660 LF of conduit & vaults, 2,642 LF of water main & appurtenances, 11,266 SY of 10 inch reinforced PCC pavement, 253 LF of 6 inch PCC pavement, 2,730 SY of 6 inch reinforced PCC shared use path, 176 LF of 8 foot x 8 foot reinforced concrete box culvert & headwalls, erosion control, seeding, surface restoration, pavement markings, construction survey, and other miscellaneous construction. The timeline for the construction of Bridgewood Boulevard – EP True Parkway to South 91st Street (Project No. 0510-061-2024, Construction Estimate ~ $6.1M) is unknown at this time and will be subject to timing of adjacent development. The City intends to Order Construction and Bid these projects in the months of April-May 2025. All bidding documents will be available when ready on the City of West Des Moines, Iowa website: https://wdm.ionwave.net.
