Request for Proposals for Pre-Construction Services for the Redevelopment of Sherman Gardens

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) on behalf of Belmont Housing Authority (hereinafter Owner) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide Pre-Construction Services for the Redevelopment of Sherman Gardens in Belmont, MA. The Owner intends to enter into a Pre-Construction Services Agreement with the selected Construction Manager (CM). This solicitation covers pre-construction only; any future construction-phase services will be the subject of a separate RFP.

The scope of work for the contract includes comprehensive pre-construction and constructability services including cost estimating, value engineering, and logistic planning.  Services are anticipated to begin in early July 2026 and extend through the Fall of 2026.  The construction estimate of the Redevelopment of Sherman Gardens is $52 million
