Title: Cleaning of Kitchen Units Districtwide (Hoods & Fans)

Scope of Work/Services:

Washoe County School District (WCSD) is soliciting for the districtwide cleaning services of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and exhaust fans at WCSD facilities as identified in EXHIBIT E. A minimum of one (1) and up to two (2) times per year per location will have regular scheduled services (during summer and winter school breaks), with additional services provided if requested by WCSD. All services are subject to WCSD’s Material, Water & Lead Disturbance Permit (MDP) requirements listed herein. The awarded Vendor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform professional cleaning services in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, WCSD policies, and the requirements of this solicitation.

Regular scheduled services will include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning interior and exterior surfaces of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods.

Removal, lawful disposal, and cleanup of grease, oil, residue, and debris from hoods, filters, grease troughs, and accessible duct connections.

Removal, cleaning, and proper reinstallation of grease filters.

Cleaning kitchen exhaust fans and accessible components to restore proper airflow and performance.

All work shall be coordinated with WCSD Facilities Management and shall not begin at any site until a site-specific MDP has been issued by WCSD and acknowledged by the awarded Vendor, and an official WCSD Purchase Order has been issued. All building materials shall be treated as potentially containing asbestos and/or lead unless otherwise stated in the approved MDP.
