Trees must be measured and specified according to the standard’s requirements for caliper, height, branching, and container size. Stock must be correctly identified by genus, species, and cultivar, and substantially free of damaging insects and diseases. •        Out of state suppliers must provide an official certificate of inspection from the originating state or federal agency. •        Certificates must be available for inspection and included with bid documentation. Special Requirements: Submission Requirements •        Sealed bids must be delivered to City Hall by August 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM. •        Envelope must be labeled: SEALED BID: Tree Bid to Purchase – City of Monticello. •        Late bids will be rejected. •        Proof of compliance with Minn. Stat. 18H.05 Nursery Certificate Requirements must be included. •        Warranty and phytosanitary certification documentation must be included. •        Responses to this Request for Bids must be provided on the forms contained in the Request for Bids •        Three (3) professional references are required to be included with the bid documents.
