Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for purchase and installation of the following: 2025 HMGP Demolition and Site Cleanup UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2025 At which time and place the bids will be opened (virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested persons are invited to watch the virtual bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered. The Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District requests sealed bids for the 2025 HMGP Demolition and Site Cleanup, FEMA HMGP DR-4481-WA, Project No. 19082242. This project provides for demolition and removal of all the above ground structures and foundations, on five (5) properties. Work will also include the asbestos abatement, septic system abandonment, removal of asphalt and concrete driveways and slabs, removal of fencing and landscape materials, exploration activities relating to suspected heating oil tanks, removal and abandonment of encountered utilities, debris, and garbage disposal, site grading, site restoration, and all other related work, as further described in the bid documents.
