Description: Proposed Improvement:  Scope of work includes the Contractor providing plumbing services to maintain and repair water service pipes that are leaking, curb box and cock, meters, and valves from the water main to the water meter of property owners.  These services do not include total replacement of water service due to inaccessibility, i.e. stoops, porches and/or slabs. The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract.
