The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Bidders shall bid on all items in order to be considered responsive. The contractor shall provide a complete job, including all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials and perform all operations necessary as specified within the plans.
This project is funded by the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (CLFRF) of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
Pooser Pond is located in a primarily residential and commercial area between East Elm Drive and Hibiscus Parkway, just to the east of US-17/92 (South Volusia Avenue). The project includes installation of a permanent pump station that will allow for the lowering of water levels in Pooser Pond and an adjacent stormwater pond in advance of forecasted significant storm events. The pump station will convey water to a large depressional area located east of Parkview Avenue. There is a second conveyance piping and temporary intake pump station pad to be constructed along a depressional area to the north of East Holly Drive.
