• Summary Denver is soliciting proposals for professional services. The Commercial Waste Study will collect baseline data on waste generation, diversion, and contamination. This study will run before the Waste No More implementation.

This RFP is being solicited by the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) for the Zero Waste & Circular Economy Team. CASR is seeking the professional services of a firm to assist with the administration of a Commercial Waste Study to collect baseline data on Denver’s solid waste stream so that CASR can study the impact of zero waste policies over time.

Required Insurance

The city does not negotiate insurance requirements or contract insurance language. Any objections not raised formally during the selection process are waived.

It is strongly recommended that all applicants prepare a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for all insurance as soon as possible to expedite the contracting process.

Review the Sample Agreement for the required insurance amounts under paragraph 11 of this RFP. The required insurance coverages are:

• Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance
• Commercial General Liability
• Business Automobile Liability
