The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept sealed bids via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg ) for 2026-IFB-027 , Schaumburg Regional Airport - Airfield Lighting Improvements to be received no later than Wednesday, May 20, 2026 , 4:00 pm . Bids submitted after the specified time will not be accepted.

Background

Schaumburg is seeking to construct the second phase of the Airfield Lighting Improvements at Schaumburg Regional Airport. This project includes but is not limited to installation of new Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) lights, Medium Intensity Runway Lights (MIRLs), Runway End Identifier Lights (REILs), and new cabling connections. The lighting will be needed around the Airport's 3,800 foot runway to aid pilot navigation and improve airfield safety. Bids are due to the Village via the OpenGov portal on Tuesday May 12, 2026 by 4:00 PM.
