NOTICE INVITING BIDSThe Jurupa Unified School District (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for the 25-26-17PD –Patriot HS – Bleacher Project (REBID – BC #01 & #02) (“Project”) at the JUSD PurchasingDepartment, 4850 Pedley Road, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 no later than 2:00 p.m. on June 25th,2026, per the Purchasing Bid Clock at which time or thereafter said sealed bids will be opened andread aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for onehundred and twenty (120) days after the bid opening date.MULTI-PRIME: This project will be bid and constructed using the Multi-Prime delivery system withindividual packages as described below:Category01 – General PackageCategory02 – Concrete; Site &ReinforcementSCOPE: The scope of work includes the construction of a home and visitor grandstand bleacherswith accessible ramps, home side bleacher to include a press box. Includes accessible path oftravel and site improvements. The bleacher materials will be Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed(OFCI).CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE: The class(es) of California CONTRACTOR’S license(s) required inorder to bid on and perform the contract for this Project is/are:Category01 – General Package02 – Concrete; Site & ReinforcementLicenseBB or C-8Licenses must be valid and active at the time of award of bid.PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: The DISTRICT will conduct a non-mandatory pre-bidconference and site visit on June 11th, 2026, at 10:00am for the purpose of acquainting prospectiveBidders with the bid documents and the work site. The pre-bid conference will begin at Patriot HS,4355 Camino Real, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 – South parking lot off Camino Real directlyadjacent to the football field, and move on to the Project site.BID DOCUMENTS: The DISTRICT’S Project Plan Holder List will be generated exclusively fromthe roster of CONTRACTORS securing Bid Documents from the DISTRICT’S authorizedConstruction Management firm, Tilden-Coil Constructors, via download. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to remain apprised of changes to this bid.25-26-17PD – Patriot HS – Bleacher Project(REBID – BC #01 & #02)Notice Inviting Bids1BID BOND: Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent(10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposedcontract, including all required Contract Documents. Such security must be in one of the followingforms: (1) a cashier’s check or certified check made payable to the DISTRICT; or (2) a bond madepayable to the DISTRICT in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. Any bond must havebeen issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120.BID FORMS: Bids must be submitted on DISTRICT bid forms. No other forms will be accepted.BID PROCESS: The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive anyirregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. Except as provided in Public ContractCode Section 5100 et sq., no Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of one hundred and twenty(120) calendar days after the opening of the bids.PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS: The successful Bidder will be required to provide botha performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the totalcontract amount. The forms of the bond are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bondsmust be issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil ProcedureSection 995.120.PREVAILING WAGES: The successful Bidder and each of its subcontractor of any tier will berequired to pay not less than the general prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in whichthe work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract(“Prevailing Wages”). A copy of the per-diem rates of Prevailing Wages is available on theDepartment of Industrial Relations (“DIR”) website and a copy shall be posted at the Project site byBidder. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all CONTRACTORS andsubcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to performpublic work, must be registered with the DIR. No bid will be accepted nor any contract enteredwithout proof of the CONTRACTORS and subcontractors current registration with the DIR toperform public work. If awarded a contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shallmaintain active registrations with the DIR for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject tocompliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. In bidding on this Project, it shall be theBidder’s sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliancerequirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid.DVBE: Where applicable, Bidders must meet the requirements set forth in Public Contract CodeSection 10115 et seq., Military and Veterans Code Section 999 et seq. and California Code ofRegulations, Title 2, Section 1896.60 et seq. regarding Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise(“DVBE”) Programs. Bidders may contact the DISTRICT for details regarding the DISTRICT’SDVBE participation goals and requirements.ALTERNATES: If the DISTRICT requires that bids include additive or deductive alternates, the BidForm will describe the specific alternates required.
