Description: The City of Amesbury is inviting sealed bids for miscellaneous city utility construction projects pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 30, Section 39M. All bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 to the Office of Administration and Finance located at 62 Friend Street, Amesbury, MA 01913, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids may be delivered by mail or in-person delivery only. Bids submitted via email, fax, or any other method will not be accepted. Late bids will be returned unopened. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of certified check or bid bond issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the state of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Bidders are on notice that this project is subject to prevailing wage rates.
