INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Talkeetna Airport Lighting Improvements, Program Number AIP 3-02-0287-XXX-2026 / CFAPT01020, will be received before 2:00 p.m., April 15, 2026 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will reconstruct the lighting systems for Runway 1-19 and Taxiways A, B, C, D, E, F, and G at the Talkeetna Airport in Talkeetna, Alaska. Improvements also include replacing the wind cones, rotating beacon, runway threshold markers, and installation of an emergency generator.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project completion date will be July 30, 2027.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings . From the DOT&PF website: http://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-bids.cfm?rc=CR your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room, or your bid may not be accepted.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
