	Bidding from prequalified firms on		Sealed proposals will be received from approved prequalified bidders until 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in UNC-CH, Giles Horney Building, Persimmon Conference Room (129), 103 Airport Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27599, for the construction of the "UNC-CH McColl Building Renovation," 17-17751-02C, at which time and place bids will be opened and read. Bids will be received for single prime contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. Emailed bids will not be accepted. The following General Contractors have been prequalified and approved to bid this job: - The Christman Company - Raleigh, NC - Clancy & Theys Construction Company - Raleigh, NC - CT Wilson Construction - Durham, NC - Lomax Construction, Incorporated - Greensboro, NC - Messer Construction Co. - Raleigh, NC - Metcon, Inc. - Raleigh, NC - Monteith Construction Corp. - Wilmington, NC - Muter Construction - Zebulon, NC - Shelco LLC - Raleigh, NC PRE-BID MEETING A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for approved prequalified bidders on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Office of Facilities Planning and Design, Giles Horney Building, First Floor, Magnolia Conference Room, 103 Airport Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27599.
