INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Bids may also be emailed to the attention of Anthony Phillip-Senior Construction Project

Manager, General Services Department at Anthony.Phillips@DurhamNC.gov. This is an

informal bid, and the bid opening will not be formal or public.

Summary of Work:

• Investigation of the existing exposed overhead HVAC System ductwork. Remove and

replace existing ductwork that is causing the water leaking (sweating).

The Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) goals for this project are MBE 0% and WBE 0%.

Bidders are responsible for filling out the required UBE Construction forms and including them

in their bid package to be considered responsive. Contact the Finance Department –

Underutilized Business Compliance Division at (919) 560-4180, ext. 17245 with questions

regarding the UBE forms.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference at Hillandale Golf Course, 1600

Hillandale Road, Durham, NC 27705 on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM

All inquiries, questions, requests for substitution, and/or clarifications must be submitted in

writing via the email below according to the directions given in the Request for Approval of

Substitution and in the Instructions to Bidders prior to 2:00 on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Bid Forms and Other Requirements:

Each bidder must show evidence that they are licensed under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General

Statutes. A General Contractors, Plumbing and Heating and Electrical License is required.
