Description: The City of Kingsland, Georgia (“City”) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase of one (1) professional-grade athletic field infield grooming machine to support maintenance of municipal baseball and softball facilities. The equipment shall be equivalent to the Toro Field Pro 6040 Infield Groomer or an approved equal capable of grading, scarifying, and grooming baseball and softball infields. The City will consider proposals for new, demonstrator, or used equipment meeting the specifications described herein. The City intends to award a contract to the responsible vendor whose proposal represents the best value considering price, condition, warranty, service support, and compliance with specifications. Any reference to a specific manufacturer, model, or brand name is intended to establish a minimum standard of quality and performance and shall not be construed as limiting competition. Proposals offering equipment determined by the City to be equal or superior in quality, performance, and functionality will be considered.
