Description: The City of Framingham, through the Mayor of Framingham Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids for IFB#8670 McCarthy School Roof Replacement and Associated Work. The project work consists of the partial renovation of the existing roof consisting of removing a portion of the existing roofing system and the installation of a new roofing system for the educational facility. The building shall be designed and constructed so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the plans and specifications for the Miriam F. McCarthy School 8 Flagg Drive, Framingham, MA 01702. DCAMM Certification is required to bid on this project; General bid certification category is Roofing and Flashing Filed Sub-Bids shall be included for the following trades: Section 08 0001 - METAL WINDOWS Section 22 0001 - PLUMBING Section 23 0001 - HVAC Section 26 0001 - ELECTRICAL WORK Bid documents can be obtained  electronically only through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 after 10:00 A.M. in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Habeeb & Associates. Sealed filed sub-trade bids must be received no later than Thursday December 5, 2024 at the times below via the Vendor registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration Metal Windows 10:00 A.M/Plumbing 11:00 A.M./HVAC 12:00 P.M. and Electric Work 1:00 P.M Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Vendor Registry system.  Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive. Sealed General Contract bids shall be submitted in strict conformance with the bid document and will be submitted electronically through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration no later than Thursday December 12, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.
