PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF GLEN-ESTE WITHAMSVILLE ROAD (C-55)

NOTICE OF VIEWING AND FINAL HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED VACATION

OF A PORTION OF GLEN-ESTE WITHAMSVILLE ROAD (C-55) SITUATED

IN UNION TOWNSHIP, CLERMONT COUNTY, OHIO

The Board of County Commissioners of Clermont County, Ohio, pursuant to the authority vested in the Board of County Commissioners by Section 5553.04 of the Ohio Revised Code, will consider the proposed vacation of a portion of Glen-Este Withamsville Road (C-55) situated  in Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio, and in Matthews Military Survey Number 1136, and being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point which is 380′ West of the centerline intersection of Glen Este-Withamsville Road and Larma Lane; thence, S.79°34’58″E. 39.25′; thence, with the R/W line of Glen Este-Withamsville Road, S.48°57’08″W. 453.17′; thence, with the arc of a circle curving to the left having a radius of 785.00, a distance of 123.35′ a chord of N.30°00’33″E. 123.22′; thence, with the R/W line of Glen Este-Withamsville Road, N.48°57’08″E. 269.07′; thence, N.79°34’58″E. 19.52′, S.41°02’52″E. 10.06′, and N.48°57’08″E. 16.98′ to the place of beginning and containing 0.325 acres. The total length of the vacation along the centerline is 353.75′.

The above-described tract contains 0.3325 Acres of land and is subject to all easements and restrictions of record and was prepared by Craig Risner P.S. 8024, dated January 2025.

The Board of County Commissioners will be on-site to view a portion of Glen-Este Withamsville Road (C-55) situated in Union Township proposed to be vacated on or about 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025.  The Final Hearing on the proposed vacation of a portion of Glen-Este Withamsville Road (C-55) in Union Township, as described, will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. local time in the office of the Board of County Commissioners, 101 East Main Street, Batavia, Ohio  45103 for the purpose of receiving comments relative to the proposed vacation.
