Description: CITY OF TROY DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY AND SERVICE CITY HALL TROY, OHIO COPY OF LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT Proposals will be received until 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, by electronic bid only for the following contracts, both in accordance with specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio: Purchase of various size water system parts including but not limited to valves, repair bands and water meter yokes. Purchase of various size water meters and appurtenances. The electronic bidding  for both contracts will be handled through the Bid Express service at www.bidexpress.com .  Bidder must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the bidder intends to bid electronically prior to bidding. A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into: A bid bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid amount for the projects bid, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio, or A certified check, a cashiers’ check, an Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the projects bid, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion.  For both contracts, the City also reserves the right to enter into a single or multiple contract for material on bid list.  The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
