Contact InformationType Request for Proposals Status Issued Number F2025160 (Annual Contract for In-Car Mobile Data Computers) Issue Date & Time 5/22/2025 07:30:02 AM (CT) Close Date & Time 6/12/2025 02:00:00 PM (CT) Question Cut Off Date 5/28/2025 12:00:00 PM (CT) Notes The initial purchase will be for approximately sixty-three (63) in-car mobile data computers (MDCs) for Sheriff patrol vehicles and warrant vans. Seven (7) units are for the outfitting of new warrant vans and the remaining fifty-six are replacement units for MDC’s that are end-of-life after May 30, 2025. Additional units will be purchased in FY26 to refresh the remainder of the Sheriff’s Office and Constable fleet.1. CONTRACT TERMS: Vendor(s) will be awarded a twelve (12) month contract, effective from the date of award or notice to proceed as determined by the Tarrant County Purchasing Department. At Tarrant County’s option and approval by the Vendor, the contract may be renewed for one (1) additional twelve (12) month period, as further explained in Renewal Options. Prices must remain firm for the entire contract.2. RENEWAL OPTIONS: Tarrant County reserves the right to exercise an option to renew the contract of the Vendor for one (1) additional twelve (12) month period, provided such option is stipulated and agreed upon by both parties. If Tarrant County exercises the right in writing, the Vendor must update and submit any documents required during the initial solicitation by no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the commencement of the option period. Required documents must be in force for the full period of the option.
