This complete Addendum, including attachments, shall be included withinthe Contract Documents and shall take precedence in the case of any discrepancies.BIDDER must acknowledge receipt of all ADDENDA on the BID or may be considered non-responsive.This Addendum consists of 38 (thirty-eight) pages.1. Table of Contents: REVISE the description of the drawings to read as follows:Drawings titled “Town of Middlebury, South Street Sewer & Stormwater ReplacementProject, Middlebury, VT,” Numbered: Cover, I-1 through I-3, C-1 through C-5, and SK-1dated 3/9/2026 (under separate cover)2. Advertisement for Bids: REVISE the bid opening and due date and time to Monday, May11, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.3. Bid Schedule: REMOVE the Bid Schedule in its entirety and ADD the Bid Schedule asenclosed within this Addendum.4. Agreement: REVISE Article 9.01.A.8 to read as follows:8. Could you tell me where they arelocated?The bid schedule and measurement and payment have been revised.All structures shall be 4-foot inside diameter on the sanitary sewerunless noted other wise on the profile.QUESTION:ANSWER:I had to bump any manhole that had a 36" penetration up to 6' Dia. To beable to maintain structural integrity.DMH-1, CB-2, DMH-3, CB-4, CB-5 have been revised by this addendumto be 6-foot I.D.QUESTION:ANSWER:You also call out 7 foot dia. Manholes on that list also. I quoted it based onthe plans, which really only called for 4' dia. Structures and one 5' dia.Structure. I then had to bump some of them up to 6' dia. Because of the36" pipe. Could you please clarify what is needed?See previous responses.QUESTION:ANSWER:Item 3.3 Miscellaneous Excavation and Backfill, the quantity for this item is700 CY there is nine test pits is this quantity correct or should this be 70CY.We have 17 test pits shown on the test pit plan, plus somemiscellaneous excavation quantity to help locate some additionalservices. The quantity has been revised to 500 cubic yards with thisaddendum.QUESTION:ANSWER:Sewer Manhole (2) is being set on two existing sewer services, what is thethought process for those services if the elevations are the same for thenew lines as they are for the old lines.We would like to test pit them to determine line and grade.
