Project Description: Information Conference: An Information Conference regarding the CMAR Contract and CMaR selection process will be held on Wednesday, 4 December 2024, at 10:00am Alaska Time
Work of the Project includes collaboration with the design Consultant, CRW Engineering Group, to complete the development of the project’s Project Manual (specifications and planset) for all phases of the project. See Form 00 52 50, Exhibit A – Scope of CMaR Services for further information. The CMaR contracting documents will be using the EJCDC industry standards.
The CMaR Contractor will be initially selected based on qualifications, experience/track record with CMaR projects, dedicated personnel, and price elements.
The CMaR Contractor will be brought into the design team at the 35% design level. At the 65% design level for development the construction documents, the CMaR Contractor will have the opportunity to submit a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for stakeholder consideration. The project stakeholders may then choose to issue an award directly without competitively bidding the construction project. If the stakeholders reject the pricing, the Owner reserves the right to solicit competitive bids. CMaR Contractor will not be allowed to submit a bid for the project, either as a prime contractor or as a sub-contractor.
The CMaR Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, testing, and incidentals to complete all Work required and shall have experience with CMaR project methods.
Estimated Cost Range: Owner anticipates that the CMaR’s Contract Price will be approximately $250,000 to $500,000.
