Description

The project involves construction of upper and lower pedestrian plaza and an interconnecting public pedestrian steel stairway linking Pleasant Street to Taft Street and the City’s Waterfront District. Primary elements of the work include cast-in-place (CIP) concrete walls, piers, stairs as well as metal stairs, landings and railing systems. Other work in this project includes a new electrical service, installation of conduit and wiring, furnishing and installing site improvements and installing new curbing as well as resetting existing curbing, installation of new and restoration of sidewalk and limited areas of asphalt paving.
