Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission


The Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Commission is now accepting bids for mowing services of six county parks for the 2025 mowing season. Address sealed bids to the attention of Andrew Upwright, Park Superintendent and specify “Mowing Services Bid” on the envelope. The Jefferson County Commission requests proposals for a study of Jefferson County Fire Services. The study should include strengths, weaknesses, funding structure, and deficits. The Commission would like to model this study after a similar study conducted in 2022 on Emergency Services ( see here )


Proposals will be accepted until Friday, August 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Proposals may be e-mailed or sent via US Mail.
