Description: Request for Proposals for Bathroom Floor Painting Project San Miguel County is requesting proposals and accepting sealed bids from experienced contractors to renovate the Event Center Men’s and Women’s bathroom floors at the Fairgrounds Event Center in Norwood and as described in the scope of work below. Sealed bids must be received at the Fairgrounds Coordinators Office, 1165 Summit Street, Norwood, CO or emailed to For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. by Friday, September 26, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Mandatory Pre-bid Conference A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held by appointment with DeeAnna Burbridge (970-327-4321).   It is the responsibility of the bidder to arrange for the pre-bid conference appointment. The purpose of this pre-bid conference will be to discuss and clarify the scope of work. Deadline for this appointment is September 19, 2025. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the pre-bid conference. Sealed bids will be opened and read by staff following the bid submission deadline. Bidders will be subsequently notified after the successful bidder has been determined. Scope of Work: Work to be performed generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: To appropriately prepare surfaces, including trim, in all ways necessary to accept an epoxy paint covering. To remove and reinstall any and all necessary fixtures, including bathroom stall panels, etc. that will affect the application of the epoxy paint. To provide all equipment, tools, labor, and materials other than the epoxy paint necessary to complete the project. To renovate the flooring trim appropriately to the transition of the epoxy floor paint. The epoxy materials have been determined and shall be purchased by the county. Contractor shall recommend amount of material needed. To obtain all licenses and permits to complete the project. Target Start Date: October 1, 2025. Target End Date: November 30, 2025. Actual start and end dates are to be determined based upon contactor and facility schedules.
