Description:

Craven County solicits your interest in providing Qualifications for Pre-Construction Services and Construction services of the project including all site work, infrastructure and building for Craven County Building Demo, Parking Lot and New Addition in New Bern, NC, located at 403 E. Front St.

The project consists of four phases. Phase 1 is the demolition & removal of the building on site, Phase 2 will be construction of a parking lot over the existing lot. Phase 3 will be a new addition to the existing Craven County Administration building. The new construction will be a 45,000 to 55,000 square foot, 2 story office building. The project will also, include the associated Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical systems required for the new addition. The Civil scope of work will include the new building pad and modifications to the existing parking areas and site utilities.

Qualifications:
Firms responding to the RFQ are expected to possess an in-depth understanding of the
issues involved in construction, site development and other related and associated
special construction. Firms must be capable of advising on all aspects of the
development as it relates to the design and construction of the facility and interaction
with the associated statutory authorities. Firms must be able to respond to the issues
from the Owner and design team as it affects the project and advise where required. In
addition, firms must be able to demonstrate successful experience with the full range of
issues involved in the construction of a project of this type and/or complexity.
