SummaryWashington County Health and Human Services, Behavioral Health Division, Addictions Program, seeks to identify a provider to deliver recovery-oriented physical fitness, wellness, and mentoring services by people with lived experience with a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) through a Recovery Gymnasium (Recovery Gym) model for adults living with SUD who are Washington County residents.
Services funded through this solicitation will support improved recovery outcomes by addressing physical health, recovery capital, and social determinants of health through evidence-based, trauma-informed peer mentorship integrated with structured fitness and wellness programming.
The County intends to contract with a single provider for these services in an amount not to exceed $216,000.
BackgroundPer Washington County Rules of Procurement 10 120(3) – Competitive Process – Personal Service Contracts:
Notwithstanding any other provision in these rules, for personal services contracts, the County may use an LOI process, which requires any prospective proposer(s) to file a letter by the given deadline that notifies the County of its interest in performing the work or responding to an RFP. If there is only one interested respondent, the County reserves the right to negotiate a contract with that responder and forego the RFP process.
