SummaryThe project will consist of constructing a cul-de-sac at the south end of Columbus Avenue as well as constructing a short multi-use path between Columbus Avenue and Marina Court in the City of Meriden. Refer to project plans titled “New Multi-Use Path and Cul-De-Sac, 380 Columbus Ave, Meriden CT 06450“, dated June 18, 2025, included with this bid package for approximate limits of work. Work will include, but not limited to, removal of existing pavement, regrading, and constructing a 48’ radius cul-de-sac, constructing an 8’ wide stone dust multi-use path. It is anticipated that the project will commence in Spring of 2026.
The intent of this project is to have this work performed and completed in its entirety as quickly as possible to limit the disruption to residents with property frontage on the site. The selected contractor will prepare a construction schedule and present it at the pre-construction meeting. The Contractor will coordinate with the homeowners for any disruption to access to and from their properties. Temporary access shall be provided.
