Project Description: Independent School District #535 (Rochester Public Schools) seeks proposals from qualified vendors to replace and maintain high-volume production equipment at its centralized copy center, Paper Tiger. The District currently produces approximately 20.4 million black-and-white copies and 1.2 million color copies annually, serving over 18,700 students and 2,800 staff members.
The project includes:
Replacement of all existing production equipment with new, manufacturer-certified devices.
Implementation of a 60-month service and maintenance agreement, with an option for a 12-month extension.
Full support for EFI Digital Storefront integration, network compatibility, and workflow optimization.
Comprehensive service coverage, including parts, labor, consumables, and proactive maintenance.
Training for Paper Tiger staff and ongoing technical support.
A solution that reduces operational costs, improves energy efficiency, and ensures 99% uptime with a 3-hour or less service response time.
The successful vendor will provide a cost-effective, scalable solution that aligns with the District’s goals of maximizing efficiency, standardizing equipment, and supporting high-volume printing needs. The project emphasizes reliability, sustainability, and partnership, ensuring a seamless transition and long-term operational success.
