RFB - Galesburg Fire Department Central Station Sleeping Quarters Renovation

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Galesburg will receive Bids for the Galesburg Fire Department Sleeping Quarters Renovation at the City of Galesburg, City Hall – Erickson Conference room, Galesburg Illinois 61401, until 11:00 AM local time on June 18, 2025, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent or by visiting the city website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us.

Questions prior to bid opening shall be submitted electronically to cbasham@klingner.com. Include in the Subject Line: GFD Sleeping Quarters Renovation – Question Submittal. Reference Specification Section or Plan Sheet in email. No question shall be taken over the phone.

A non-mandatory pre-bidding conference will be held on June 4, 2025 at 11:30 AM, at the project site at 150 S Broad Street, Galesburg, IL 61401. Meet at northeast entrance of fire station.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to City of Galesburg, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations is required.

City of Galesburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received.

Bids may be held by City of Galesburg for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
