Notice is hereby given that the City of Mobile will receive sealed Bids for the above stated project on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, until 2:15 PM local time. Bidders shall insert sealed Bids into the receptacle marked “City of Mobile Bids”, located in the elevator lobby outside the office of the City Clerk’s Office, 9th Floor South Tower, Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama 36602. The same will be publicly opened and read at 2:30 PM in the Atrium Lobby of Government Plaza. Additional Bidding instructions are further detailed in the Request for Bids Documents.

Scope of Work:
The scope of work shall consist of all components including but not limited to the grading, drainage, paving, other associated site work, and architectural work to construct an approx. 10,148 Sq. Ft. new Fire Station for the City of Mobile Alabama. The building shall consist of three 75-FT apparatus bays, front office, bunk rooms, day room & kitchen, restrooms and showers, storage, fitness room, laundry room, and radio room. The apparatus bays shall be equipped with hurricane rated four-fold and high-performance sectional bay doors. The function of the building is an essential facility and shall be fully sprinkled with fire alarm, dehumidification HVAC Units, and emergency back-up generator.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for General Contractors will be held in the City of Mobile Architectural Engineering Department’s Conference Room, located on the 5th Floor, South Tower, Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama 36602 at 9:00 AM local time, Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Bidders are required to participate in the Pre-Bid Conference, visit the Project Site prior to submitting a Bid, and include all costs associated with the Project in their Bids. This Project is Tax Exempt.
