SUBJECT: Addendum No. 6 to the Bidding Documents for Mehlville School District – Bus Transportation Facility Project

This addendum forms a part of the bidding and contract documents and modifies the original bidding documents, dated September 1, 2026. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in space provided on Bid Form. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY SUBJECT THE BIDDER TO DISQUALIFICATION.

A. CLARIFICATIONS
1. The Bid Opening date and time has been revised to: Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 2pm. The location remains the same.

Please contact County Blue for the full addendum.

Sealed Bids will be received by Mr. Mike Gegg, at the District Central Office, 2900 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125 before 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on October 13, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

Original RFP

Qualified Contractors are invited to submit an offer for the Mehlville School District – Bus Transportation Facility Project. Sealed Bids will be received by Mr. Mike Gegg, at the District Central Office, 2900 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125 before 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on September 29, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

The project consists of: A new transportation facility building, storage building & dumpster enclosure, demolition of the existing facilities and site work scope that includes bus and car parking, retaining walls, landscape, utility work, etc.

Contract Documents will be available on September 1, 2026. Contractors may obtain electronic documents and/or printed documents from County Blue Reprographics, www.countyblue.com , (314) 961-3800. A refundable deposit of $100.00 is required for printed documents. Checks to be made payable to the Mehlville School District.

A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding.

The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission.

Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity.

Contractor shall comply with the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Prevailing Wage Rates and be enrolled in the E-Verify Federal Work Authorization Program.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site, Mehlville School District Transportation Facility, 3100 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125 at 2:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026.

All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend, but attendance, is not mandatory. Site inspections before or after this date shall be arranged through Mike Gegg at (314) 467-7870 a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the inspection. Contractors are responsible for field verifying all conditions and dimensions prior to bidding.
