Overview

Summary

The City of Benicia (City) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations for consulting engineering services associated with the 2026, 2027, and 2028 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation projects.

Background

The City of Benicia is a general law city located in Solano County. The City of Benicia has a population of approximately 28,000 and a land coverage of 13 square miles. The City is a “full-service city” and provides a wide range of services. In November of 2024, Benicia residents passed Measure F, a 0.5% sales tax that is earmarked for repairing the City’s roads, sidewalks, and storm drains. Measure F allows the City to greatly expand the annual Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation project.
