Project Overview:

The City of Berkeley invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the Maudelle Shirek Building Paint Remediation & Abatement.

Sealed Bids will be received at the General Services Division of the Finance Department of the City of Berkeley, 2180 Milvia Street, 3 ^rd Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

The Engineer’s estimate for the work is $118,000.

Scope of Work:

This project encompasses painting interior areas of the 1st floor and stabilizing asbestos as well as both lead based and lead containing paints.

Required Contractor’s License(s): B - General Building Contractor

Duration: 15 Calendar Days

Pre-Bid Site Visit: Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM
