Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control is responsible for the humane care, custody, and disposition of domestic animals and livestock impounded under applicable provisions of the California Food and Agriculture Code, local ordinances, and other applicable laws. Mariposa County is seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed animal welfare organizations to provide immediate intake, placement, fostering, and adoption services for impounded animals. The intent of this agreement is to ensure timely relocation of animals from County custody to a qualified partner organization capable of providing humane care and achieving successful adoption outcomes. The initial contract is expected to be for a one-year term, with opportunity for renewal.  However, the county retains discretion to negotiate a two- or three-year initial contract.
