Description

The WDC has proposed that Fire Station 5 be located and constructed on approximately 59,528 square feet (or 1.37 acres) portion of the Rotella Magnet School property located on Pierpont Road in Waterbury, CT. The existing Station 5 located on East Main Street has undergone an assessment whereas renovation costs may not be the best use of resources when compared to the cost of a new station. This RFP includes the Design Phase, Bidding Phase, and Construction Administration Services including any additional necessary associated services for that new station.

There will be a Mandatory Information Session with respect to this RFP at 10:00 AM., May 20, 2026, for new Station 5 in the lobby of Rotella Magnet School, 380 Pierpont Rd, Waterbury, Connecticut. THOSE NOT ATTENDING THE SESSION WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL.
