Project Description: Montgomery Township will receive sealed bids online for Supply and Installation of Front PTO, Front 3-Point Hitch, and 11-Foot or 12-Foot Plow for John Deere 6120M Tractor. All Bid Documents and solicitation details are available, and sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via PennBid (www.pennbid.net) until June 30, 2026 at 10:30 AM at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 1001 Stump Road, Montgomeryville, PA 18936.
Montgomery Township is soliciting sealed bids from qualified suppliers/dealers for all labor and materials required to transport a John Deere 6120M tractor off-site, supply and installation of a LAFORGE PR5.5/6R front power take-off (PTO) and front 3-point hitch system, and an 11-foot or 12-foot 3-point hitch mounted hydraulic angle snowplow, including any required adapter kits, hardware, and integration with an existing John Deere 6120M tractor, and transport of the tractor back to the Township.
All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost on PennBid. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (minimum $150 and maximum $6,000) is assessed by PennBid only to bidders who are awarded contracts.
A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the maximum amount bid is required to be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit within the time limit specified in the Contract Documents, the Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in an amount of 100% of the contract amount.
This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 127 Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification as amended.
All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of bids only by the withdrawing Bidder’s strict compliance with 73 P.S. Section 1602 and any subsequent amendments.
Montgomery Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
The project will be managed by Montgomery Township.
