Background

It is the intent of this Request For Qualifications (RFQ) to select an architectural firm and complete design team capable of providing services to assist the City of Heath with the following design and construction project:
New Public Safety Building: The facility will likely include the following basic items: three double drive-through apparatus bays, public lobby, offices, interview rooms, restrooms, showers, locker room, training room, records storage, evidence storage, 8 dorm rooms, fitness room, watch room, kitchen, gear and storage maintenance areas, day room, emergency operations center, conference room, and back-up generator. It is anticipated the new facility will be 17,000 to 18,000 square feet with a construction budget in the $10,500,000 range. The site for this project is located at Chris Cuny Blvd Heath, TX 75032 (RCAD Property ID 82102) or TBD.
