BackgroundThe Arana Trunkline Replacement project replaced 1,688 linear feet of sewer main and is scheduled for completion in June of 2025. The Arana Gulch Sewer Replacement, Phase 1 Habitat Restoration requires habitat restoration work following the construction to include: amending the soil as necessary, removing invasive weeds that could complete with native plants, installing a temporary irrigation system to ensure the newly planted native species receive adequate water during their establishment phase, installing native planting, and planting native seeds. To ensure the success of the habitat restoration project, the scope of work includes five years of post-installation maintenance, which involves tasks such as monitoring the health of the plants, removing invasive species, and managing the irrigation system until the plants are fully established.
Container plants have been pre-purchased by the District for use in this project and are therefore not included in the bid item list.
