Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, and conveyances necessary to provide and install a total of 23 monitoring wells around the coal ash legacy sites at Sheldon Station (SS), located near Hallam, Nebraska (freight prepaid). This work includes drilling of exploratory boreholes and wells, installing casings, developing the wells, installing sample pumps, and installing protective pads, bollards, and metal protection around the wells.  All wells will be located on the District’s property at SS.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit for prospective Bidders will be held at Sheldon Station, located at 4500 West Pella Road, Hallam, NE 68368, at 10:00 a.m., CDT, Thursday, May 29, 2025, for the purpose of reviewing the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. If you plan to participate, please email Sarah Hopwood at sjhopwo@nppd.com and Melinda (Mindy) Evans at maevans@nppd.com before May 28, 2025 with the names of those attending and the company they represent.
