Bid Description: 2028 PIERCE VELOCITY AERIAL TRUCK FINANCING

The City of Pittsburg, Kansas is seeking quotes from financial institutions for the financing of:

(1) Pierce Velocity Aerial truck for the City of Pittsburg’s Fire Department.

The specifics of the purchase are as follows:

• Total contract price of $2,099,997.36 (see attached estimate for standard equipment descriptions).
  • 2028 Pierce Velocity Aerial
• Quotes shall include these lease options:
  • 7-year lease / purchase
  • 7 annual payments, first at delivery of equipment
• Quotes shall include the annual payment amount, payment schedule, and interest rate.
• Quotes shall include the bidders lease purchase agreement which will be subject to the provisions of KSA 10-1116b and KSA 10-1116c and the City of Pittsburg’s purchasing policy.
• All quotes shall be viable for a minimum of 30-days from submission.
• All quotes must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., Jun 23rd, 2025, and clearly marked “Equipment Lease Quotes – 2028 Pierce Velocity Aerial.”
• Quotes received after 2:00 p.m. on Jun 23rd, 2025 will not be considered.
• The City will evaluate quotes and select the financial institution that best meets the needs of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to waive irregularities.
