I assume an access road would need to be built toaccess the ends of the pipe. This could include lots of trees to be removed, temporary pipes to cross gulleys, and such. Who would be responsible for this?Is it to be included in our liner price. This could be a huge expense and I don'tthink that the Division should be paying this on pipes with very little cover.“The Department’s response is: The Department will provide reasonableaccommodation and accessibility to the pipe needing to be serviced. There is no ebsx addenda file associated with this addendum.Thank you for your attention to this matter. If you have any questions, please contact the Division Proposal Engineer at (828) 331-5200.Sincerely,Wes Jamison, P.E.Division 14 Project Development EngineerDN12210048ST-10such as foreign inclusions, joint separation, cracks, insufficient liner thickness, materialloss, roughness, deformation, dry spots, pinholes, insufficient bonding to host pipe, delamination, or other material or installation deficiencies as described herein. The cost of post installation inspection will be considered incidental to the cost of the linerinstallation.Warranty The Contractor shall provide a one year warranty on all materials and workmanship.Measurement and PaymentCIPP Liner will be measured and paid for as the actual numberof linear feet of pipe for the size that has been incorporated into the completed and acceptedwork.
