DETERMINATION THAT LITHIA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF BEND IS THE SOLE SOURCE FOR FACTORY PARTS AND SERVICE FOR FLEET VEHICLES.

ORS 279B.075 allows Deschutes County to award a contract without a competitive process when the goods are available from only one source. This document provides findings to support the conclusion that the County can contract with LITHIA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF BEND for FACTORY PARTS AND SERVICE FOR FLEET VEHICLES for the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office vehicle fleet.

document provides findings to support the conclusion that the County can

contract with LITHIA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF BEND for FACTORY

PARTS AND SERVICE FOR FLEET VEHICLES. for the Deschutes County

Sheriff's Office vehicle fleet.

The efficient utilization of existing goods requires the acquisition of

compatible goods or services The Sheriff's Office fleet primarily

consists of Dodge and Ram vehicles. Maintaining these vehicles with

factory parts helps maintain the warranty and integrity of the vehicle.

Service work is also needed by the dealer when difficult repairs or

specialized tools are required. The closest dealer after Lithia

Chrysler Dodge Jeam Ram of Bend is Cottage Grove or Eugene,

Oregon both of which are over 95 miles away.

The goods or services required for the exchange of software or data

with other public or private agencies are available from only one source.

source to provide FACTORY PARTS AND SERVICE FOR FLEET

VEHICLES. for the County.

These findings support the conclusion that the County can contract with LITHIA

CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF BEND as sole source provider of

FACTORY PARTS AND SERVICE FOR FLEET VEHICLES..
