IMPORTANT: THIS IS A NOTICE ONLY. The actual solicitation will be released shortly.
Questions and discussion are not allowed during this pre-RFP period. Once the RFP is released, questions will be allowed through the OpenGov Procurement portal, in addition to a pre-bid conference meeting, which will be accessible to all proposers.
BackgroundAs this is quite a large effort, we are providing this notice as a courtesy for pre-planning efforts. Funding for the travel demand modeling evaluation/development, transportation analysis guidelines, and transportation impact fee program is through a City CIP, while the VMT Reduction and Mitigation Fee Program is funded through the Caltrans Sustainable Communities Grant. We would like to select one consultant team to lead this entire effort, which may consist of several relevant subconsultants to complete the work. In additional, the lead consultant team would coordinate project management of tasks that fall under each of the two funding sources. While we are still working out the details of the RFP, including the selection criteria, a lot of focus will be based on experience and expertise with the scope of work, along with project management and coordination.
