Project Description: The City of Olathe Police Department (“City”) is soliciting proposals for a turnkey Tactical Support Unit (TSU) equipment vehicle. The vehicle will support cold-zone logistics, support operations, and training by transporting, organizing, securing, and rapidly deploying TSU equipment and support tools.
The vehicle is intended for logistics and support use in the cold zone and is not intended to serve as an armored or hot-zone platform. The vehicle shall be capable of carrying and supporting rapid deployment of equipment in the following categories:
• Operator gear / personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Breaching tools
• Ballistic shields
• Range equipment
• Scene lighting
• Construction / scene support tools
