The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Planning and Codes, are accepting proposals for the design and construction of Phase 2 Stormwater Management Improvements in the community of Jonestown, including:

• Design, permitting, and construction of stormwater best management practices at Coppins AME Church; and

• Design, permitting, and construction improvements to the private road and stormwater conveyance systems on Jonestown Lane; and

• Design, permitting, and construction of stormwater outfall on Klein Street.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, @ 2:00pm at the Pavilion at Jonestown Park located at 4472 Nelpine Road Preston, MD 21655. After the Pre-Bid meeting, a site walk-through will be held starting at Jonestown Park on Nelpine Road. This is the bidders' opportunity to enter the private properties during the bidding process. Bidders shall not enter the private properties listed in the bid form at any time during the bid process.

Bids must be received in the offices of the Caroline County Commissioners, County Courthouse located at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629, by no later than Friday, November 15, 2024 @ 10:00 am, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any/or all bids.
