Central Arkansas Water (CAW) has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) for qualified firms with proven experience and expertise to improve the resilience of electrical power in parking lots A and B of the James T. Harvey Administration Building (JTH Admin Building) located at 221 E. Capitol Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72202. “Central Arkansas Water encourages small business enterprises and veteran-owned business enterprises to submit proposals."TYPE OF CONTRACT
Unless Responder plans to own and operate the Project and sell power to CAW, CAW and a selected Responder will enter into a contract for the design and construction of the Project for a fixed price. If Responder or a third party is to own the Project, the initial contract period will be for 20 years. This initial 20-year agreement may be renewed for two (2) five (5) year terms after the initial period if agreed by both partiesCLARIFICATION OF RFP AND QUESTIONSResponders may send questions requesting clarification of information contained in this solicitation. Questions should be submitted by 4:00 p.m. Central Time on July 22, 2025. Submit written questions by email to the CAW buyer as shown on page one (1) of this solicitation.
