ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO

Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 10:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 for DPW

Project 24624 Infrastructure Improvements, Old Pen, Idaho State Historical Society, Boise, Idaho.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include infrastructure improvements in the

existing shirt factory building. Improvements include new fire sprinklers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and

interior renovations.

Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, March 12, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., prevailing local

time, at Old Idaho Penitentiary, 2445 Old Penitentiary Rd., Boise, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to

attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and

electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $150.00. Others may

obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public

Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.

Estimated Cost: $1,350,000.00
