The owner has established a contract performance time of one hundred twenty six (126) calendardays from the date of the Notice-to-Proceed. Bids may be held by the North Central Missouri Regional Airport Authority for a period not to exceedone hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of conducting the bidevaluation.Award of contract will be based on the lowest aggregate sum proposal submitted from those bidders that are confirmedas being responsive and responsible. It is the policy of MoDOT and the (City or County)to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex or national origin in the award or performance of thiscontract. All firms qualifying under this solicitation are encouraged to submit bids/proposals regardless of theirbusiness size or ownership. Awards of this contract will be conditioned upon satisfying the requirements of thissection. These requirements apply to all bidders, including those who qualify as a DBE. The owner’s award ofthis contract is condition upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR §26.53. A DBEcontract goal of zero percent (0%) has been established for this contract. The non-DBE bidder shall subcontracta minimum of zero percent (0%) percent of the dollar value of the base bid(s), excluding any additive alternates,to disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) or make good faith efforts to meet the DBE contract goal.
