Request for Proposal - Raise & Collar - Public Works Operations Contract (Closes 01-28-2026)
Sealed responses to this RFP shall be submitted to the Purchasing Office, c/o 2nd Floor Information / Constable Desk, 2549 Washington Blvd, Ogden UT 84401 by January 28, 2026, no later than 11 AM.
SCOPE OF WORK / SPECIFICATIONS
The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: lowering existing utility accesses such as water/gas valves, storm drain/sanitary sewer manholes, communication vaults, storm drain junction boxes and street monuments. Much of this work will be done in coordination with Ogden City’s rotomill / paving activities.
A. The location of the work is: Various locations/roadways within Ogden City.
B. The estimated cost of the work is $200,000.00.
C. The project shall be governed by these contract documents, special conditions, specifics related to the work, and all provisions of the Manual of Standard Specifications and Manual of Standard Plans 2017 Edition published by the Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and the Current Edition of Ogden City’s Engineering Standards for Public Improvements which are applicable to the work are made a part of the Contract Documents by reference.

RESPONSE TO RFPOgden City is seeking proposals from providers capable of providing all the workdescribed in the Scope of Work including attachments.1. Each Proposal must include, as a minimum, the following information:a. Authorized Representative – Indicate name, address, email and telephone number ofthe company submitting the proposal.- Include the name and contact information of the person designated as authorized tocontractually bind the offer.2. Company Experience - A description of the firm’s experience and capability offulfilling this contract if awarded. Include the following information:a. Copy of applicable Utah contractor license to perform the scope of workb. Company history with biographies and/or resumes for principal contacts.c. Past performance on similar municipal projectsd. Information on location and accessibility of officese. Proposed traffic control resourcesf. List / availability of equipment and resources3. Team Information – Provide the names of any outside consultants and/orsubcontractors to be utilized, including contact information and a brief description oftheir role(s) in the project.a. Include degree and depth of professional qualifications4. Proposed schedule for completing scope of work5. Cost Proposal - A detailed breakdown of the proposed costs and timeframes tocomplete the project. Include a price guarantee period.6. Evidence of Insurability – COI, Refer to Ogden City’s insurance requirements (asapplicable).7.
